Mike Hughes Biography

I am a successful CEO/CTO/COO with over 40 years experience in running multi-national IT software and services businesses. I have run businesses from start up to disposal and has been involved in all aspects of the business during this process.

I have  run companies in the UK, USA, Ireland, India, Indonesia, Netherlands, France, Australia and South Africa.

I have been a senior C-Level driver in three exits (once as CEO, once as COO and once as CTO). Whilst they are not at the massive end of the market they amount to well over £100M worth of value. The transactions were also widely accepted as being very successful for all involved, the shareholders have all been happy.

I have worked in startups, private ownership situations and very large listed businesses and understand the best ways to maximise returns for owners and shareholders.

I am a very experienced leader (I rarely meet people like myself) , who is used to creating vision and cultures which motivate the teams within the business.

I have intimate knowledge of sales, marketing, product management, product development, recruitment, financial processes and I can even program at systems-programming level.

I know how to connect all the parts of a business together and identify and eliminate weaknesses.I believe that people are the best assets in any business and understand the process of setting up and motivating high performance teams. People seem to like working with me and I seem to like working with people.
